At least one group of Donald Trump supporters have shown their version of Making America Great Again involves lynching black people.
On July 30, 2016, supporters of the GOP nominee in Wrentham, Massachusetts were seen driving trucks with American, Gadsden (the yellow “Don’t Tread on Me” flag used as a symbol of the Tea Party movement) and Confederate flags mounted alongside one another, shouting racial epithets over a CB radio when they thought nobody was listening. Some of their more disgusting comments can be heard in a video posted to YouTube:
“What do you guys think of Barack Obama?” One person is heard saying over the CB channel.
“Fucking nigger,” one Trump supporter said in response.
“Lynch the niggers by their dicks!” Another shouted gleefully.
One driver was heard shouting “Burn ever single nigger!” on the CB channel.
“Yo, that just came over the channel, and it was wicked loud, and it was awesome,” said a Trump supporter in response to the racial slurs.
“All I know is we’ve got plenty of trees to hang niggers from, so let’s get these Black Lives Matter motherfuckers out here,” one Trump supporter added.
“We gotta goddamn shoot all those goddamn Black Lives Matter,” another said.
Donald Trump has been widely criticized for stoking racial hatred by retweeting neo-Nazi Twitter accounts, posting images to social media that reek of anti-semitism, and encouraging Islamophobia and hatred of Mexican immigrants. Just recently, the man leading a group called “Trump Youth” was exposed as having sympathy toward Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, and referred to other countries as “parasites” in a video posted to YouTube.
The GOP nominee has been recently spurned by national Republican leaders, many of whom are endorsing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the general election this November. Trump recently hired the head of Breitbart.com to rescue his floundering campaign. He is significantly behind Clinton in polls surveying residents of swing states like Pennsylvania and Virginia.
